THREE THINGS WHICH CAN MAKE YOUR SKIN FLAWLESS

 Hope you all guys doing well! 

If you are having a good diet, doing exercise, using the best skincare products but still your skin is not looking good then this blog is for you. Today I will be recommending three amazing things that can actually change your skin to the best.

Always keep in mind everything happening in your skin, have a direct relationship with what's happening inside your body. 

So, keeping this point in mind let's start with today's blog - 

1. Emotional management: If even small incidents bothering you a lot, making you cry, or taking you into the stress then surely you need to look into this issue. Emotional Management means keeping your emotions like anger, happiness, sadness, etc. in balance and under control. 

Every time your imbalanced emotions lead to the release of the irregular hormones which not only affects your mental health but also affects the skin and body health.




2. Sleep cycle: Sleep is a magical cure to all the problems in the body and skin. Sleep is the time when your body in under the process of healing. 

During sleep, skin cells regenerate which heals your skin. So, give sufficient time to your sleep for it's magic to happen. So, try to sleep early because at midnight, the healing process starts. If you are still awake at midnight then nothing will happen moreover, it will deteriorate your skin health. 


3. Gut health:
I can write pages on this topic. Gut health is the most important factor if you really want healthy skin and body. If your digestive system works in a completely natural way then surely you will see amazing changes in your body. 

You can follow these tips - 

  • Listen to your body - What it needs to eat, what it doesn't want to eat, at what time it needs food.
  • Keep a check on your diet - Don't follow any trendy diet blindly. First, check what suits to your body then go on for a good diet.
  • Don't eat every 2 hours - If you have a habit to eat all the time with less timing gaps then just stop practising it because such kind of eating pattern will lead to the release of hormones and digestive juices again and again which can lead to several diseases in future. 
  • Pooping and constipation - If you need coffee and tea every morning to stimulate your excretory system then you seriously need to take care of your gut health. Also, constipation is a great threat to your health. 


So, these are the three things which can actually change your health game i.e. skin and body.

COLLEGE CLOTHES ESSENTIAL

 


Whether it's college or office, a basic fashion makeover makes a sense. Your styling shows the personality you carry. It doesn't mean that you have to spend all your hard-earned money on expensive branded clothes or you need a big closet full of clothes. Only a few essential clothes can make you look to the next level.

 So, here I am going to list up 10 wardrobe essentials for all the college girls out there - 

1. A basic black and white tees: These two basic tees match with any type of bottom and they are extremely versatile. Not, only black and white you can also go for other solid colours as per choice.

2. Tank tops/crop tops: Now, this kind of tops can be controversial, and questionable why I have put these tops in this list. So, as per college dressing code if your college don't allow them to wear you can wear a denim jacket or shrug or cardigan over it. This will give a very fashionable and comfortable look. 




3. Denim jackets: A good denim jacket can change a boring look into the fun and fashionable one. So, surely invest in a denim jacket. A basic blue jacket matches up with every top and bottom. 




4. A pair of blue and black jeans: You must have a pair of comfortable black and blue jeans in your closet. These two colours go with almost every top. And choose the jeans style according to your body type and most importantly according to your comfort and confidence zone.



5. A pair of joggers: Sporty mood?? Go for this. Joggers, in my opinion, is the best invention in the fashion industry 😅😋. When I want style plus extreme comfort, they are my go-to wear. Girl! must invest in at least one pair of joggers, it will change your life I swear!! 
You can pair it up with any crop top or sweatshirt. 



6. A white Kurti: A white Kurti on high rise jeans or legging( your choice), with a beautiful oxidised Jhumkas and ballet flats as footwear, can give you the most elegant, alluring Indian look. And most importantly, this look goes with any college dressing code.



7. Sneakers: Sneakers are very cozy and best for every day. Traveling needs very comfortable footwear so you can go with them. They are stylish as well. Your college wardrobe is incomplete without such comfortable footwear. 


8. Ballet flats: Similarly, to the above essential footwear- for an elegant chic look you need this pair of footwear too. These are good with anyone whether you want to go with an Indian look or formal, casual look.
 


9. Basic accessories: Clothing always look incomplete without jewelry. I am not saying you to buy thousands of accessories, you just need-
                                                          - a pair of earrings
                                                          - a pair of Jhumkas  
                                                          - a light metal choker( silver/gold) 
                                                          - if you are fond of rings then definitely go for   them( totally your choice)




10. Backpack/tote bags/crossbody bag: Surely you can't go college without a bag. There are lots of choices in the market.  Type of the bag you want to carry all depends on the personal choice of style. 

                                                   -Always try to match up your footwear's color with bag 
                                                   -Try to have neutral color bags ( if you are not matching with footwear)
                                                   -Always go for a small bag with at least 2-3 pockets

After really a long break I am back with my blogs. So, today we are going to talk about some environmental-friendly BEAUTY steps that can be taken to give a small contribution to save our environment. 

1. Switch to wood: Guys, it's high time, switch yourself from plastic combs and toothbrushes to wooden ones. Not, only these but if you can then surely start using makeup brushes that have wooden or bamboo handles. 
Such a step can reduce the use of plastic which is highly toxic for the environment.





2. Stop using cotton pads: Instead of using cotton wipe pads, definitely go for microfibre makeup remover cloth or bamboo wipe pads. There are two reasons I am recommending these- 
                                        
  • Eco-friendly 
  • Economical - You don't have to invest again and again buying cotton pads, just buy a microfibre cloth one time and reuse many times. You just have to wash it like normal clothes.     




3. A big "NO" to wet wipes: If you are using wet wipes, then stop doing that right now. They are very harmful to the environment because of their non-biodegradability property. 

I can give you some alternative options for wet wipes- 
  • Removing makeup: Buy a good micellar water and microfiber makeup remover cloth. And happily say BYE!!! to makeup remover wipes.
  • Refreshing the skin: After a long hour working day or traveling, your skin wants a good wipe of wet wipes to feel refresh and clean. But girl! you are gonna stop here. You have to keep only two essentials- 
                            - A small bottle of face mist or toner 
                            - A cotton handkerchief   
        Whenever your skin is feeling the need of refreshment and some cleanliness, simply clean your face with a handkerchief and then give a sweet shot of face mist or toner.  




4. Reuse empty bottles: It's the end of the product and now what to do with that bottle? 
    Simply, reuse it. Whether it is a plastic or glass bottle, use those bottles to store your small stuff like earrings, coins, buttons, rings, and even DIY eye cream, lip scrub, hair oil, etc.  
 DON'T THROW THEM OUT.





5. "NO" to sheet masks and peel-off masks:  Sheet masks and peel-off masks are highly non-biodegradable products. Both of them have large molecules and strong bonds which are very difficult to break into simpler molecules and hence they can not be broken down. Resulting, in a great threat to the environment. 
So, if you can stop using them then surely take this step. 




There are many more steps that you can practice, and save nature. I can't explain all of them here otherwise it will be a very long article😅😅

Summer makeup essentials - COLLEGE EDITION


Welcome! guys to another Sunday blog.
As the month of June arrived with a scorching sun and hot winds, the makeup industry also arrives with a new summer makeup edition. So, today in this blog I am going to talk about makeup products for everyday go-to-make up for college girls.

Always remember: Summer means light, cool and soothing colors. Never ever, go for dark and heavy shades of colors whether it's clothes or makeup or even the nail paint.


I am gonna recommend the makeup categories and brands for everyday makeup. This list is made by keeping in mind that in the morning you just need 5-10 minutes to do this look.


Before moving further there are some tips on what type of texture and formula you can go with-

  • From thick textured foundation to light textured BB/CC cream
  • From blush stick or eyeshadow stick to powder blush or eyeshadow
  • From liquid eyeliner to eye pencil
 Here, we go with the list -


      1. BB/CC cream: Switch yourself to bb/cc cream depending upon the coverage you want. If you want good coverage then go for cc cream otherwise bb cream is your best friend.  
         Tip to go - If you want the natural look then avoid even the bb/cc cream. Just go with a good moisturizer.

    2. Concealer: Again, your choice. If you want to hide dark circles, acne scars or marks, hyperpigmentation then apply concealer specifically in target regions.

  • Wet n Wild Photo Focus Concealer: Available in 7 shades, Price- Rs. 399

   3. Loose powder: After concealing, under your eyes blend some loose powder in order to prevent creases that can form after a few hours. 

      Product recommendation - 

  • Maybelline New York Fit Me loose finishing powder: Available in 4 shades, Price- Rs. 695
      But, this product can be more towards the pricy side. So, I have two compact powders that can work in the same way.

  • Lakme sun expert ultra matte SPF 40 PA+++ compact: Rs. 176 
  • Maybelline New York white super fresh compact: Available in 4 shades, Price- Rs. 160
      P.S. Compacts can work for everyday light makeup but for heavy and occasional makeup loose powders are better. 


   4. Eye makeup: Everyday eye makeup only requires two things - Mascara and Eye pencil. 
   

  • Mascara- 
         Product recommendation:

                b. Wet n wild Max volume plus waterproof mascara: Rs. 499 for 8 ml

  • Eye Pencils- You can use them like kajal as well as eyeliner and smudge it to give a smokey eye look.

   5. Lipsticks: In summers, switch to more nude shades or some light pinkish shades. On a more affordable side, you can try out the NYKAA MINI LIPSTICKS collection.



   6. Setting spray: Don't go for pricey setting sprays. The best dupe of setting sprays I discovered recently is TONERS. If your toner is not in a spray bottle then transfer in some empty spray bottle and give a spritz on your makeup face. And, Girl! You are good to go. 

       Try out GOOD VIBES POMEGRANATE TONER - Price is Rs.145 for 120 ml.



   7. Nail Paint: For your nail paints, go for bright pop-up colors. 
      
       You can try out nail paints from Nykaa, Elle 18, Lakme. All these brands come to the affordable side.

MAMAEARTH ULTRA LIGHT INDIAN SUNCREEN REVIEW

Hey! guys, I hope you all are doing well. Today in this blog I am going to give my honest review on Mamaearth Ultra light Indian sunscreen. I have tested for around 3 weeks and now my opinion about this product is ready.



(For, review I have used the 25ml tube which I got as tester free with my purchase. This size is not available to buy.)

  • Level of protection(PA): PA+++ which means the highest protection from UVA rays
  • Shelf life: 2 Years
  • Quantity and price: 80g product for INR 499 (only one size available)

  • Colour of the sunscreen: slight yellowish 
CLAIMS BY THE PRODUCT
  • Protect from UVA and UVB rays, crafted for Indian skin 
  • Skin type: For all skin types 
  • Paraben and silicone-free, dermatologically tested
INGREDIENTS

This is the ingredient list and specifically consists of CARROT SEED and TURMERIC.



MY OPINION 

  • Texture: Had the soft texture means semi-solid-type 
  • Blending: Easy to blend and easily absorbed by the skin

       1. Does this sunscreen give a white cast on the skin? 
           My answer is NO, it does not give any kind of white cast on the skin after its application. 

      2. Is this sunscreen moisturizing? 
         Yes, of course, this sunscreen moisturized my skin. I am a dry skin type. 

      3. It is best for which skin type?
          My experience says that it is best for normal, dry, sensitive skin types. For oily and combination skin type, it can be slightly towards the oilier side but if you apply makeup or setting powder over it, it will give you a matte finish.

        4. How is the packaging?
         The packaging is quite simple with a regular plastic tube which is NOT eco-friendly. 

     5. Will I buy it again? 
        Oh, Yes! Definitely, I am gonna repurchase this product. 

      6. Are the ingredients safe? 
        Yes, ingredients safe for all skin type even sensitive skin can go for it.

     7. Can I use it daily?
        Yes, you can because it is a light sunscreen, and your skin will not feel heavy at all.

     8. Is this sunscreen all seasons friendly?
        You can use this sunscreen in any weather or season. It will not take your skin to any extremes.

      9. Rate out of 5? 
        4.5 stars, not 5 because of non-ecofriendly packaging. Otherwise, the product is awesome and I would recommend all my beauties to go for it.

Welcome back again all my beauties! New weekend, a new blog from my beauty diary and today's topic is how to take care of your face skin. We will be covering a very basic and simple skincare routine. I will be talking about the eyes, nose, lips, and skin. 
EYES
The most sensitive and delicate part of our face. So, here are some ways of taking take of your precious eyes- 

1. Cleaning your eyes - Before going to bed, always make sure to remove your eye makeup. Then after it wash your eyes with cold water by splashing it on eyes. Don't be so much hard, do it gently. Such cleaning will help your eyes to remove microparticles, dust, etc. stuck in due to pollution. 
 MAKE SURE YOU ARE NOT USING TOO COLD WATER AND ALWAYS USE FILTER WATER TO DO SO.    

2. Apply eye cream - Apply eye cream twice a day and it is the compulsory step to do. I am not saying do it if you have dark circles and puffy eyes. Genuinely, speaking I have never come across any such product which can vanish my dark circles and puffiness like magic. I personally use eye cream and recommend it to others for moisturizing the area around eyes. The skin around your eyes is 10X thinner and sensitive than your normal facial skin. It's really important to keep the eye area moisturized and hydrating. 
3. Do some eye exercises - After completing steps 1 and 2, now it is time to relax your eye muscles and get into a deep sleep. The whole day, we are in office, college working continuously in laptops,phones which strain our eyes so badly. Like our body needs some muscle relaxing exercise similarly our eyes need it too. (DISCLAIMER: I AM NOT DOCTOR OR PROFESSIONAL. I AM GIVING YOU OUT MY RECOMMENDATION AFTER DOING IT OVER MYSELF. THESE EXERCISES HAVE BEEN DONE BY ME OVER LAST MANY YEARS.)     
Let's see some of the eyes muscle relaxing exercises-   
   
 a. Horizontal movement: Move your eyeballs towards the right side then towards the left side. Repeat, this process 5 times each side.

b. Vertical movement: After the horizontal movement wait for 30 seconds then go for the same process of moving eyeballs but now do it up and down. Repeat the process for 5 times each direction. 

c. Squeezing eyes:  Close your eyes quickly, squeeze them, and feel your facial muscles moving for three to five seconds. Then open your eyes slowly and repeat the process 6-7 times by keeping a break of 2-3 seconds between each squeeze. NEVER SQUEEZE YOUR EYES TIGHTLY, BE GENTLE AND SOFT WHILE DOING THIS EXERCISE.  All the above exercises will help you to release eye stress and relax eye muscles.
4. Use castor oil over your eyelashes - Castor oil is the best ingredient if you want long, bushy eyelashes. Apply it every night before sleep and after a week or so you will get the result. You can use your fingertips for application over eyelashes or can also use a mascara brush for the same. You can get a mascara brush with a small bottle online or also if you have empty mascara then wash the brush and bottle and reuse it for this purpose.


NOSE

The biggest issue on the nose is blackheads and whiteheads. I have used lots of products till now for getting rid of blackheads but got no permanent solution. But there some steps by which we can decrease them-

1. Cleanse your face twice a day - especially a nose region. As we know blackheads come on the skin because of the clogged pores so it is important to make it clean and prevent clogging the pores.

2. Use scrub - it can remove the blackheads and also open the clogged pores. 

3. blackheads removal charcoal sheets - This is actually an amazing product. Using it once a week can remove the blackheads perfectly and gives you a plane, smooth nose. But again it is not the permanent solution. 


LIPS

Who don't like pink, hydrated, soft and supple lips? Of course, everyone loves it, So here are some tips-  

1. Say "YES" to LIP BALM - Never leave your lips bare always put the layer of lip balm over it. It will help you to keep your lips soft and moisturized. 

2. Lip scrub - Its a new trend going in the market but believe me this trend is actually effective. Scrubbing your lips removes dead skin cells, prevents pigmentation, and increases the blood circulation. There are two ways of lip scrub either you buy a good affordable lip scrub product or make a DIY!!! 

 DIY LIP SCRUB -
take half spoon white sugar or brown sugar. Add 2-3 drops of lemon and 1/4th spoon honey. Also add 4-5 drops of coconut oil and mix it well. Then apply on lips and start massaging with your fingertips or by an old toothbrush in a circular manner. Do this process for 1-2 minutes. Use a tissue paper to remove the scrub from your lips. tadaaaa!!! and the Magic happened!!!
Try it and comment down the result in the comment section you got after using this scrub.      
 
3. Drink an appropriate amount of water - You apply thousands of products but if you are not taking a good amount of water then there will be no effect. It is very important to keep your lips hydrated if you do not want chapped lips. So, drink around 8-9 glass of water daily. 

FACE SKIN

Now comes to the most important area, Face skin. There are many problems that occur in almost every girl's skin i.e. acne, blemishes, pigmentation, dry and flaky skin, dullness and the list is more to go long. But, taking proper care can help you to get the dream skin. Basically, the skin routine is divided into PM and AM ( I will be describing this topic in the upcoming blog). Here I am just taking the normal HEAD points, "NOT" explaining the proper routine.

1. Eat healthy food - Its really important to take necessary nutrients i.e. proteins, vitamins, fibers, etc. So always take nutrients rich food. Try to avoid fast food as much as you can, especially people with acne-prone skin.

2. More and more water - Water can keep your skin hydrated and also helps to remove toxins from your body. You can win 80% of the skincare game with just 8-9 glasses of water every day. 

3. Workout - Laziness in quarantine can easily make you leave workout. But, don't skip workout as it will keep your body fit, and also the sweating removes the toxic substances from the upper layer of skin giving you good glowy skin
